![]() Some scamming is legal, and it's your job to read the rules and figure out what. It's a limitation of the fact that everything inside a computer is just made of surfaces with textures, rather than actual matter with stuff inside the volume.ĥ. And other MMO's have characters running through NPCs or other characters, or through obstacles. Art preferences are your own, no arguments there, you're entitled to your preferences.Ĥ. I.e., first person shooter or single player space simulator dogfights aren't really possible because of the lag and the other players.ģ. Keep in mind, though, that it's an MMO, so if you're going to form your opinion you should take into account the need for a server to calculate everything, and internet lag. Can't argue combat preferences you can have your opinion. say level 30, this game gives the level 5 a chance to win.Ģ. level 80, there's no difference, but if you compare level 5 vs. In this game 20+ rookies in frigates CAN take out a solo veteran in a bigger ship (in WoW all it takes is one AoE to take all the newbies out). In this game, your rookie shots do land, even if his armor and shields have no problem absorbing the damage. Tell me how a level 5 wizard fares against a level 80 rogue in WoW that game has built-in "you can't even hit him if he's 5 levels higher" mechanics. Rookies have no chance in any MMO against veterans. ![]() Eve is designed to be different than those games and it's the reason why I'm still playing this game after more than 6 years.ġ. There are plenty of games out there as a matter of fact most of the MMOs out there are designed around your tastes so you should have no issue finding a game that you enjoy playing. I also think that the rate at which you gain skills is very good and well thought out.Īs for the rest of your points it seems like Eve might not be the game for you. Also any player can do anything they just have to train the skills. No need to spend months or even years grinding multiple characters up to level cap. In Eve as a new player you can be effective in combat from day one. The level cap systems in other games just force a leveling grind that is very much work like and not so much game like. I won't go into the detail and derail your thread here but I will say I think it is one of the best skill systems in any MMO that I've seen. (puts more modules on ship) WARP SCRAMBLE, WARP SCRAMBLE, WARP SCRAMBLE DEAD! (puts modules on ship) WARP SCRAMBLE, WARP SCRAMBLE, WARP SCRAMBLE DEAD! WARP SCRAMBLE, WARP SCRAMBLE, WARP SCRAMBLE DEAD! (Puts humongous weapon on ship) aims at enemy DEAD! (Puts bigger weapon on ship) aims at enemy DEAD! (Puts weapon on ship) aims at enemy DEAD! This only thing I can see this game having bonuses for is community I found the community to be good. Weapon drop off in space? object don't do this in space they eventually get effected by gravity. Graphics could be made more realistic.ġ3. Insurance in this game is pretty much a scam.ĩ Skilling up in years one skill at a time Zzzzzzzzzzz.ġ0. Policies of EVE are simply unenforceable by customer support (rookie grieving policy)ħ. Told that scamming is legal then when I pull my scam (customer support gets involved)Ħ. Ships flying through planets stations and other obstacles.ĥ. ![]() The ship well most of those look terrible the only good looking ships are GARMUR and ORTHRUS most of these other ships look like they came out a toy cracker box (at least supply ships that might be practically feasible)Ĥ. The combat in this is rubbish and I mean UTTER RUBBISH!ģ. ![]() Rookies have no chance in this game against any player that's been playing years.Ģ. ![]()
